RSM Partnership with Southeastern University
Radiant School of Ministry Students receive college credit through SEU
SEU is one of the top Christian universities in the country. They are regionally accredited and offer excellent online and in-person programs. Through a unique collaboration with the college, full-time RSM students will receive credit that may be applied toward one of the many undergraduate degrees they offer. All students will receive a minimum number of credits each year they attend RSM towards an SEU degree, and they may also choose to take additional SEU courses at a discounted rate.

The overall cost of RSM Year One is $5,950 and includes the base number of SEU credits available annually. Students may opt to take an additional three classes each year (approximately 9 credits). These classes will be offered at a discounted rate of $1,017 each, and the fee will be paid directly to SEU. There will also be approximately $600 in SEU fees annually. RSM will give a small scholarship to help students who choose to take the three additional classes. So the grand total for this option will be $9,450.

The university offers nearly 100 undergraduate degree programs, including ministry, education, business and many more. See all SEU degree options here.
The coursework offered through the RSM/SEU partnership will have value toward any undergraduate degree offered at the college. The credits will best align with a Bachelor’s of Science in Ministerial Leadership. If this degree path is chosen, a student who completes three years of RSM will only require 30 additional credits (one year) to complete the program.
Other Bachelor’s programs at SEU vary in coursework requirements. Contact RSM to discuss specifics for a preferred degree.
If a RSM student already has a Bachelor's Degree, there is an opportunity to get an accelerated Master's Degree through SEU during their time at RSM.
-
The SEU credits that are available to all RSM students at no additional cost will be granted for the work that is part of the overall RSM curriculum. The additional credits available through elective courses at an added cost will be offered online. The work may be completed on a student’s own time, and will require approximately five to 10 hours each week. A three hour time-block will be built into RSM on Tuesday mornings for students to focus on these classes:
RSM Year One
Basic English Composition
The Story of Scripture
Biblical Hermeneutics
RSM Year Two
Theology 1
Leading Team-Driven Organizations
Preaching
RSM Year Three
Professional Communication
Theology 2
Worldview and Complex Problems Seminar
Student’s choice of Bible elective
If a student has already taken any of these courses for college credit, they can take an alternative course towards the Bachelor’s degree OR choose not to take the SEU class during that 8-week term.
-
If a RSM student already has a Bachelor’s degree or is not interested in the SEU option, they can pay the base RSM tuition and RSM will provide an alternative class at no extra charge.
